Awesome! I rode a 650 SV a bit after I got my endorsement and before I decided against buying a bike. You are correct, the throttle is really smooth and doesn't have the peaky power band sport bikes do. Extremely forgiving and nicely predictable. Congrats and enjoy!

I still toss around the idea of grabbing a duc monster. Love the naked farings. You got a pretty damn good deal on that man!:slayer:

[IMG] still fuzzy with a little lemon stitch hanging out. I'm guessing around 1965.

This is also around what I was thinking. Though I would say 1971 - 1976. His jeans have the single-stitched back pockets, which are thought to be pre-'76. The little e is generally thought to be made from '71+, and of course the rivets show that it's definitely '66+.

I have a similar pair that I wear often, but they have the chain-stitched back pockets putting it at '76+. I think i eventually dated them to 1976-1981.

So I had a pretty good week...

Copped all this stuff for super cheap last week:

Various J.crew, Gant, etc shirts and sweaters... The NWT sweater is women's.

Some low-grade selvedge. 2 pairs of UB 201's, 2 pairs of Uni-Qlos, and some random brand that didn't seem that good.

    More J.crew / etc shirts.

But I don't like to mess around with that lower grade stuff... Sold all of that to Buffalo Exchange, then re-invested that money into these items:

    RRL Western Shirt

Nice pair of Tellason John Graham Mellors. These came out on a fresh rack right as I was about to leave the store. Love when that happens. [IMG]

Saw this nice Indigo fabric sticking out of the sweater rack. Had to investigate.

Yes. Knew that Indigo had to be something. Fit on this is perfect. N/A.

POP! (On a shirt anyways) I figured this was worth maybe $50-60 on eBay... Checked the prices when I got home and was surprised to see them going for $100-150. [IMG]

Pretty decent looking belt sitting on the rack. Was surprised to turn it over and see this:

POP! (on true thrift gator). At first I didn't pay any attention to the belt buckle, but inspected it more closely later on...

    Been Had.

1/20th 12K Gold Filled. Pop on first thrifted "Gold". Was stoked to find this paired up with the Gator belt.

Killer Armani Collezioni suit. Super recent make, and in excellent shape.

My first time seeing this neck label. I knew exactly what it was.

POP! Have found couture shirts and tie before, but never a tailored piece. Such great workmanship on these.

    5% Cashmere Fabric

    Dat fabric flap.

    Doze surgeon's cuffs.

Not "true thrift" prices, but still plenty of room for flippage.

    Last but not least...

    Not one...

    BUT TWO!

Size 3 and 4. NWOT condition. MSRP for these is $470 ea, but they seem to be sold out everywhere... Every online retailer, and none on eBay or Grailed.

I have 2 of them. Pretty sure I hit the fucking jackpot with these.

God damn I love doing this. [IMG]

So, I have a little problem, my phone has decided to go kaput on me, and I lack the funds to go picked up another one right now. Would any of you happen to have a spare phone you'd be willing to trade? Needs to be Tmobile, or ATT. Thanks guys.

Hit a couple yard sales and a SA this weekend. Trying to be a little more selective with my finds, since I recognize that most of my previous posts were pretty weak.
    Some things for me:
None too special, but I liked them. There were tons more but I don't know vintage matchbox so I didn't bother to pick through too much.

Not sure this is a thing, doesn't seem that special. But it was exactly $0, so why not?
Marked as a small, but it's absolutely enormous on me in the shoulders and sleeves, so I'd guess a Large/XL.

I dream of instrument scores like that. Around here, it's:

    Dented, student model trombone? $60.
Terrible, old clarinet that would need an overhaul, at least, before it played? $150.
    Violin case? $25.

The super duper thrift looper did not play out as anticipated as far as schedule and general success. I'll have to re-logisticize it before the next run. Got held up for a few hours on both days for visits and traffic so I only hit about half the stores I had planned.
