    13. Charvet tie

Is this turning into a combi-knowledge / sample / tie swap box? I liked Spoo's original idea - not sure why a sample of cashmere and a Charvet tie would be included (cashmere is cashmere - go to any NMLC, TJX, or even GW when they starting putting out winter stuff to feel it; and Charvet makes some of the shittiest woven ties I've come across - look at them funny and they get snags and pulls).

You make a good point. The Pringle cashmere is my contribution because it's the only trashed item I can contribute at the moment. A Charvet tie is certainly borderline, but the label is not common in the wild either. The idea of putting a whole tie in the box does cause spatial concerns. Would like to keep this to a first class mail item.

Says US Army AF. That would imply prior to 47 correct?

Edit: nvm, just saw the 1978. Odd?

Naw, it's Avirex repro boots. They're cool, but not an issue thing.

Suze 11D and pretty minty with storage wear. Really nice functional buckles. Just not sure if they were issue. Judging by the numbers written inside they may have been.

Well, seems like Saturdays are the days where I find NWT Hertling for Haberdash pants. (Last week found another killer pair that I don't have photos of yet.)

Paid up a bit but didn't want to risk waiting til they went on sale. Olive drill may be available but the wool fit perfectly.

I really try not to pick up stuff that is cool but does not fit to me or is not worth consigning, but i really couldn't pass these up at the prices.
Available to good home at cost:

Not sure if mens or womens, but nice linen wool blend:

Quarter lined linen yachting jacket in unsual color combo, about a 39

Really wish this fit me. Raw silk, goldish green, 42 and apparently unworn:
