Clearly a noob question. That said, when you say mediocre ties, what do you mean by that? And, what would you be willing to pay for things like BB Makers, PRL, Barneys, etc.? I've also actually seen a couple of Robert Tabotts that I like the patterns on but know nothing of the brand and haven't been willing to drop coin on.

Edit: To be clear, I am not talking about the crazy psychedelic Talbott. These are much more understated...

Amusing that the Gov's mansion is like the 3rd nicest house on that road...then you go down the side streets and see the "Bieber" house, NFL / NBA / MLB houses and like - WTF. People have no sense. Get a one year $50mil contract, buy a $15mil house that costs $40k a month to maintain...good luck with that.
If you've got the time, drop into Labels Consignment and let me know if they are any less unwelcoming. Pretty cold reception, but they always have Brioni, Hermes and whatnot.

Is this turning into a combi-knowledge / sample / tie swap box? I liked Spoo's original idea - not sure why a sample of cashmere and a Charvet tie would be included (cashmere is cashmere - go to any NMLC, TJX, or even GW when they starting putting out winter stuff to feel it; and Charvet makes some of the shittiest woven ties I've come across - look at them funny and they get snags and pulls).

Doc: Look out for Red. She's the pushy obnoxious one. If you see her, you'll know.

Do you not have a flask?! Sweet tea & Jack, never look back.
Omnomnomnom - That lunch sounds like what my sister puts out - all home-made, plus salt pork, greens and like 2 or 3 other dishes. I just made myself hungry.

I can contribute a fake Hermes. Not sure why I kept it.. but it may have a purpose now.

I upheld another southern tradition tonight and went to a high school football scrimmage. Next week is the first real game, my son is on the freshman team as the starting nose tackle... He is 14 and 5 lbs lighter and 2" shorter than me. And much much thicker (takes after the Portuguese on the wife's side). BBQ at the tail gate party then 2 ½ hrs of football.

@barrelntrigger Whatchu think, new or used? Main tags are off but has the wash tag still on and there is no fading. Got super excited picking this up without realizing that the inseam has been hemmed to 30. Likely gonna end up with my bro or the bay.

These are the Shearers most likely from 2008. These are legit! I think these were affiliated with self edge. Good find. They look spanking new to me! http://www.selfedge.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=272

Yeah those Jawnz look crispy new to me. The pocket bags are still crisp and "white", and that denim is raw as fuck. Good pickup.

Sounds like fun! Teach your son how to be the Center instead of nose tackle. Good Centers are VERY important and excellent Centers get big scholarships!
