Something like that would be ultra-cool for examples on types of patterns and fabrics - POW, windowpane, chalk stripe suiting and so on... Great reference when I find something and can't remember (or never knew) the name of the pattern / weave / etc.

Pretty good idea. Trying to think of what else would be good/make sense to add.

Garza grossa and garza fina would be good. The couple of grossa weaves I have found I thought were standard knits when I first picked them up.

Maybe it's me, but aside from croc belly, and maybe croc vs alligator vs caiman, I think most exotics are fairly easy to detremine real or fake. Snake skin and lizard might be easy enough to include samples. Don't know how often others like shark, eel, stingray, etc are faked... Maybe a swatch of real and a swatch of fake full quill ostrich. I'll see if I can come up with some of that, I have some old pieces of both I think...

Legit ancient madder. I thought I knew what it was until I found one. Realized that it absolutely feels different than a regular silk tie.

It was funny, I learned that term as a pejorative for Indianans/midwest WT, when I moved to St. Louis for about a year, and was completely taken with it.

Fantastic idea, @Spoo. I've got a yellow gren I can contribute that I don't get much wear out of. A little rough around the edges. Pretty sure it's Grossa. And I donated a beat to hell pair of shell just a couple days ago. Should have held onto them for this.
