One time I wore a sport coat just for kicks. No reason, just wanted to dress nice. Got asked by multiple people if I was going to a wedding. One guy even asked "Wedding or funeral?"

A mate of mine was wearing a suit, walking to work (he's an optometrist) in a very working class area of north west England and a group of local kids shouted "Mafia!" at him. I think they'd only seen suits on the Sopranos before.

    Hum. I left behind 2 women's pants:
    1 Rag & bone legging light grey/blue size 29
    [IMG]
1 Engineered Garments Navy pants in linen size 30

being women's pants I did not know if that was worth it...

Are you sure it was for women and not a very small man?

Tea light holder? The flickering light would show off the translucent horn nicely :nodding:

Somehow there is a decent amount of suiting at the thrifts here. Sw&d isn't bad either.
My assumption is that the wealthy guys that actually wear suits to work are the type of people who donate. And the people who have decent money and buy a nice suit for an occasion just donate it when they are done. Also, no one apparently knows how to wear a suit. I would say 10% of the suits I buy still have the sleeve tag. I've seen guys wearing blazers with sleeve tags still on, on more than one occasion. It makes me want to cry.

Also @tvader. Racing. We have racing.

    And @glam. Yes. Buy.

I think we should start a thrift thread box that we pass around so you guys can experience some things. Like a swatch of grenadine, a swatch of real croc, etc.

I'm happy to start it off, I don't have spare grenadine though, if anyone's got a donor.

    What else should be included?
