I got comped tickets to see one of my friends at second city tonight, and the wife went thrifting with me this morning. Gonna go get some drinks and laugh a lot.

    1. No plans to go as of now because I currently operate a business that for the forseeable future is a 24/7 5-6 day a week operation. 2. I will absolutely route you a map and take a day off, hell, I could route you a map that could cover the ocean to Hollywood by 6 if you start at 9 sharp and that's like 12 stops at least, you'd have to be speedy though.

    3. Because who throws down a thrifting challenge to a forum member without putting himself to the test to see if he can hang? Not I, 2 stops and pics, then I'm loosing my password here for like 5 days. Vacay time for real.

Godfather 3 was an abortion. The joke i was making was to use the voice of kate to express my disgust with the third movie. Happy now?

[IMG] In any case, thanks for the insight, Siskel. good going! [IMG]

The place I checked today was kind of overpriced compared to what I'm used to. Hard to convince myself to get anything. Ended up with only two.
100% wool Polo. Says Large, but it lies. Wears like a medium or even small. Might be women's Large? Or just shrunk? Bummed I can't wear it cuz it's soft as.
Edit: just saw how bad the photos are. :/
It's Navy and has a collar. Can't really make that out

Is Polo Jeans Company a thing? Saw a few but I didn't think they'd be as desirable as PRL, etc. Is it like Chaps or Lauren? Or something to grab in the future?

Gotcha. At least we all agree Godfather 3 was the worst. Although Andy Garcia was good.

In thrift news I went to an Auction and bought some polo jeans shorts (they were included with the real thing I wanted) a great pair of Pumas! AND some old 70's playboys, 3 Eisenhower dollars, 3 Kennedy Half Dollars, a Camel Cigarette beer cooler sling, and a very weird and old glass bowl with feet and two holes in it. It was a dollar and I'm going to figure out what the heck it is!

Edit: I forgot a REALLY cool Faber Bros Krome Kraft ice bucket.

I haven't posted pictures in a while, but I'm still thrifting. Ended up having a decent shoe day in addition to the big find.

Lilly (NA) [IMG] Just beautiful. Not everyone's taste but a true grail in my opinion. I know you had to pay for this but it is truly a wonderful find. I have thought that in the future if thrifting goes well for me I would visit the vintage shop in Palm Beach and get one of these from the guy that has a bunch. Congrats on a great jacket.
