This is a resonator yes ?
Judging from the case I'm thinking 50's maybe earlier.
    Any info would be appreciated

BTW new people: that Kiton jacket is my first in over five years of active thrifting. That's hundreds and hundreds of strikeouts, thousands of visits and still way less work than a lot of people on here have put in without being so lucky.

Condensed version of Burberry rep email conversation:

Me: Who is the maker for the "Hand Made in England" Burberry branded ties? Provided model numbers from NWT's ties.
Rep: Hello! Yes, our ties are made in England!

Whoever called that one. Bravo, sir.

But I did pop on pre-Prada Church's Custom Grades last night, which are much less difficult to identify than Burberry ties, apparently.

Yes that is a resonator. Not a load of info on these, but from what I'm reading could be as early as from the 1930s:

From this looks like a model from the same maker is for sale for about USD1100.

More info on the maker here.

Yup. Been going on 7+ years now, and I've still yet to find a Kiton jacket/suit. Have found a lot of amazing things, but that one's still on the pop list.

That’s something I need to find as well. I’ve struck off other Uber lux brands but Kiton & Loro are two I haven’t had the pleasure of popping yet.

I have found just about every label in the book. The weird thing is once you find them and cross them off the list you add something else to it. Now it's like yay kiton and throw it in a pile.Like me I have on my list right now that are my big two are true vintage Levi's big E. Never found any. Out of tens of thousands of Jean's I've gone through not a single pair. Same with savile row tailoring nope nadda nothing.

That's what I thought/think too and then I spoke to a guy that said it was fake.

Do you mind sharing where you saw the one you were interested in?

Thrift gods were good to me today. After a good 3-4 weeks of no shopping I'm hooked once again. Pics coming soon.
