I went to another Goodwill and had better luck. Nothing great but a lot polo and similar. I have a couple of tags I don't recognize.

A7C3A528-4B92-4F41-AC91-5CCDD1887285.jpeg Part of the reason I like this thread is seeing cool gear irrespective of the original and flip values. My question is this: what is one (or more) of your favorite pickups that had a relatively low [lets say $50 USD] original retail price and which if you sold it would still have a low price? My example is this (presumably) vintage ll bean bean boot / stripe tie that’s around 3”. I bet it retailed for $30. And I ethrifted for $10 which is what I would guess is market rate. But
to me it’s worth much more. What are some of your favorites that don’t flip well and which didn’t cost a lot when made?

I've still been hitting the thrifts like a psycho... Only buying for my runt ass as usual. Nothing amazing, but decent practical stuff... And in light of thrift Vader's stereo talk...

Onkyo M35TECH micro stereo. Of course, the 3 disc changer doesn't eject (common with these things), but the receiver sounds awesome! $17 for both, so whatever. Plus, the rca labeled Realistic Minumus 7 speakers were free. I also tried a pair of Canton GL260, sound great, but they are big enough to defeat the purpose of a micro stereo.

And I'm using a pair of rare Pioneer Exclusive CS-955 as stands. Ha!

At thrift price I figured I would grab this, clean it up, and play around with it. The prior owner tied bag of the accessories to it.
