Speaking of trials, I recently found out there's an elementary school in South Central LA named Johnnie Cochran Elementary school. Yes, that Johnnie Cochran...they named a fucking school after a guy who got a man off for nearly decapitating his ex wife and an innocent waiter. It is south central though so that is taken into consideration.

JC was a great attorney. Fact.
There have many been schools, statues, buildings, etc named for many people who may or may not be "upstanding" citizens.

Paterno & Cosby are 2 that come to mind.

His retainer was $600,000 so yea he was good. I just found the combination of the neighborhood, the fact that he never really contributed anything to society, just got guilty people off, and they renamed the school to his name after the trial, to be quite humorous.

There's a Jewish middle school in the valley named Milken named after a dude who was essentially a low key Madoff and went to jail for it. He got out and used other people's money to buy himself a school. So yes, you don't need to be upstanding to be immortalized. America!

I made it once, with a beautiful Emma Willis shirt that sold for... £0.99!! Serves me right for thrifting a shirt with 31" sleeves. *gif of guy licking lips weirdly*

Yes. These shirts are pretty nice, love the collars, made in Switzerland I think. I'd put them below Zegna in quality but still very good. I have had trouble selling them, usually only get about $20 and it takes a while.

As a new thrifter and Chicago resident, may I ask where you left it?

Also, as a new thrifter, I'm wondering how you all price your finds. For instance, I picked up some black Japanese APC NS in sz 34 and am wondering whether I've priced them properly. They're more or less brand new, though I believe they may have been hemmed. What about a NWOT Barneys belt in sz 30?

Thanks in advance for teaching a young grasshopper...
