"Old Man Style" Thrifting Finds...

Outfit #1: Hart Schaffner & Marx Gold Trumpeter Linen blue windowpane sport jacket ($10.00 plus $8.75 shipping on eBay) with cotton dress khakis ($1.50 Goodwill) and Alan Flusser 100% cotton dress shirt ($3.50 Goodwill).

Outfit #2: 3-button, ventless blue all-season wool blazer (shown above) by Calvin Klein (white label) purchased on eBay for $10.00 ($7.50 shipping).

Both outfits accessorized with a white cotton pocket square with a color rolled edge. Only .99 cents per square on eBay (I purchased them in a range of stitched color edges). They come from China, free shipping, took about two weeks to arrive.
This is proof that dropping $10k on high end stuff isn’t always the best route. Awesome fits man

If he's convicted all his stuff is forfeit to the feds according to the indictment, so they'll auction it all off.

Anyone remember when Bernie Madoff's stuff was being auctioned off? Lots of like 10 pairs of Lobbs with the trees and bags listed as "Men's Shoe Lot" and selling for peanuts? Really wished I was in NY that day....

I still have some of Richard Scrushy's post-downfall stuff. I lived close to his 15,000 sq ft house in Birmingham. And my parents owned a house next to his 10,000 sq ft lake house. Needless to say, we had fun at both auctions. They sold EVERYTHING. They sold the used underwear out of his bedroom and even an half-empty can of Copenhagen snuff from his airplane that he kept at his lake house.

Purp handknit, Unis work jacket, e-thrift

Barbour e-thrift for gf. Has some spots where the wax has leaked onto the lining, is that normal or did someone mess up reproofing it? Never seen that on other jackets. Great shape otherwise and cheaper than any Barbour I've ever thrifted in a store.

Gonna need that Purp off you, homeboy. That Barbour looks like something that’s been done re-waxing, nothing to worry about.
