Rolex crown pin? Found on lapel of jacket, it's pretty small
Did ok this week
The colorful Ralph Lauren came with these sweet mother of pearl cufflinks!!
If anyone out there is a military buff I'd appreciate some help figuring out what this jacket is, this tag is the only tag on the whole thing.
Sorry for spamming the feed with my pictures but I did spare the pics of the vintage Givenchy suit, the vintage made in France Calvin Klein suit, and the vintage made in France YSL suit, all 3 tailored almost perfectly to me. Picked up about another dozen shirts for resale but we all see enough pics of things like that.
Did you buy the jacket it was attached to or attach it to a jacket you bought?
It's nice getting free stuff (cash, condoms, whatever) with your cheap stuff. I can't be the only one who finds pocket squares, shoe trees, lapel pins, cufflinks, suspenders, attached to things I wasn't going to buy and then attach them to the things I am going to buy. Consider this my confession to assuage my guilt.
Yea just a rando blazer
@white collar pretty sure that's some variation of an N3-B parka. Either your own research or maybe some other folks can tell you exactly who made it and when. i have no idea whether its civvy or what...
Really poor day out. Found one tie, nothing great. But I remembered that someone collects Fire King? Bueller? If it's desirable, hit me up.
It's just small, so might not be worth your time. I don't know this stuff well.
Sorry for crappy pics.
I thought the same, it looks closest to a N3-B parka but I can't find any with the type of fur mine has or the orange lining. Im thinking mine is a survival variety of some kind. Either way its hands down the most well made jacket I've ever seen and will most likely be my new ski jacket.
Oh hai 42's (please).
Sorry man,40 reg
Well don't tell them over at WAYWRN. They'll excoriate you for that.
Oh. No. Wait.
That's just me.
I came to SF with very few rules, just gut, and what I thought was a decent sense of style.
I realized I was wrong, learned and proceeded to follow the rules.
And my style suffered greatly.
I'm now less tethered to rules per se - I mean, the principles are all still there in the background, but I tend not to get too hung up on hard and fast things like I'll never X or if X then Y. It's all context.
That's precisely why Spoo's sockless look worked here, and frankly why Spoo does works because he pays attention to context.
Shantung tussah slubby raw thai silk
Yeah that green is freaking sick.
Edit: Aw freak Frenchy why did you have to say something like that? You couldn't have told me it was like a 46R? Now it's going to haunt me that it fits and I can't have it.
1980 Snoopy for President milk glass mug
1980s navy flight boots, my size

Hanes 1960s? tees (appeared unworn when I picked them up, still had packaging creases; bad lighting, they're white)
low-end Marantz but nicer than my low-end Sony
1980s? Montana tee
1970s? denim shirt
band collar popover handwoven in India
recent Samuelsohn corduroy jacket with ticket pocket + dual vents
recent BB Golden Fleece gray pinstripe suit...but you already know what that looks like
sick post @ChetB
So you finally understood the WAYWRN thread is just populated by a very specific subset of iGents... and some of them think they know the universal truth about menswear, right?
I'm (not so much) kidding, some of those guys are great ^^ And your fit pics are baller man. I can't believe how much you slimmed down too
