I could not say no the Tommy for 30% off. I was impressed by the quality? Toschi sneakers was $9 dollars after 50% off. Toschi dress shoes have a real carbon fiber insole. It's what caught my attention. Also 50% off. Crazy Grateful Dead vintage t-shirt in amazing condition.

Just a few things that I bought as gambles recently:

1.jpg

Rebuild by Needles Levis. NOT true thrift. My gal gave me a bunch of her clothes to trade in at Buffalo Exchange, and I got these and the tee shirt below.

Not sure how to determine value on this. No actual Grateful Dead logo. Copyrighted 1974 & 1992. On a vintage Fruit of the Loom tee.

Not sure if I posted this when I first bought it. Unfortunately has some flaws.

Always happy to find Taylor Stitch. This one needed a few days of soaking to get stains out, but it's pretty nice now.

This, of course is not a gamble. They had this Filson at half the price of crappy, moth-eaten, made-in-Mexico Pendletons hung just a few feet away.

A'ight. Slim week for me, so that's all I've got.

And while I was writing that, I got two offers on the Grateful Dead tee. Good sign, I guess.

For some reason the thick rubber on the newer LV pieces always have that powdery film on them. Same as my Taiga Satellite bag. Nice find
I think its a A copy from the pictures. That should be an older pegase 55 from 2004 based on the top handle but there are lots of things that don't match up to that bag for its age wich makes me beleive its a copy. What's the serial number under the dog leash puller D ring?

Spent a few hours op shopping today for not much return. I did find a few things of note. I had to leave behind Cantarelli and Canali Exclusive suits and Prada shoes because they just were too far gone.

I normally wouldn't bother with PRL polos, but this one was made in the USA, which I hadn't seen before. I also saw a RL big pony polo that had Australia on the back, a crest on the front and a number on the sleeve. Not sure what that was about.

I'm pretty sure that this is an orphan jacket, but I'm still hoping to flip it.

Can anyone explain what the hell is going on with this blazer?

Forgot to mention. I saw a crocodile handbag and an alligator handbag, which I wasn't game to pick up. The alligator was made in Cuba and had the animal's head integrated into the flap. Creepy. The croc looked nicer but a lot of the seams were gone and it had no label. Neither was cheap, or I might have taken a punt.

Cuba has a different species of croc. which was heavily exploited to almost extinction.
