Yup its reversible

Thanks, it was literally between the beams and the insulation, I saw the arm sticking out and wondered if there was some vintage Levi's back there but the dude wouldnt have appreciated me pulling his wall apart I think. I dont even want to sell this thing, first one ive found, probably the only.

That jacket is insane! Was it just kind of pushed back there (like on accident), or was it being used intentionally as insulation or something to block a draft?

I found a a whole bunch of 1930's chambray and salt & pepper work shirts being used as insulation in an old workshop/outbuilding wall when I was picking through an old farmstead about 10 years ago. Before fiberglass and rock-wool insulation, they used just about anything they could for insulation. I've seen newspapers, clothing and horsehair used as insulation.

Thats what I was looking for! I remember you posted something about that before, thats the ultimate uncut purity. This house was too wealthy and too new to have workwear buried like that but what a rush that must have been.

one of the first times I got to third base was at a dark side of the moon laser light show at the Vanderbilt planetarium.

I don't have pictures.
Must have been during "The Great Gig in the Sky"
