Pine, looks like it was made from 2x lumber. If it's heavy, it could be southern yellow, that stuff can be heavy.Not sure if this rosewood either as it's particularly heavy and has the psychedelic patterns.

It's "okay" kind of borderline .Bad pictures, but since the topic of mcm came up curious about your knowledge of this @impuntura . It's walnut veneer and I thought it was nice enough for my place, but don't know much about the demand/rarity of it.
