    Man, you guys are killing! @SpooPoker @Fashionablemale @Mr. Moo.

    Today was solid. Average PPU $5.42. 4 stops.

    Started out ok with some old Champion and Sears 70s/80s sweatshirts

    Then it got interesting. Was half off, which is rad, but makes me wonder what else I've missed the past few weeks at this spot. Also, I had never found one of these and in the past two months have found 5.

    So... I'm at one of my usual thrifts. What do I find? Not one but two of these NWT reversible parkas with an incredible amount of fine tailoring and nice details:

    Nah, they even stock winter coats here all year round. Can't figure it out.

    Yeah, that looks like the earlier label style/type font. I'd say 1966 sounds about right. Cool find; never found an early poplin jacket like that. Oldest I've found was '68.

    Maybe this was already answered but i didnt see it:

    Nope. If im correct Hedi Slimane left Dior after Summer (Ete) 2007. Yours appears to be 9E which would mean 2009 Ete/Summer or S/S 2009.

    Down to just over 3 hours before the scavenger hunt is closed!

    In the meantime, could one of the great Nike experts here help me out? I was in a rush and didn't have time to check on this instore:

    [IMG]

    This is the only label I could find on the jacket. No content tags, etc.

    Normally, I like to figure these things out for myself before I cry for help. But this one has me stumped. Googling the RCF# brings up a variety of different jackets (mens and womens), none of which are remotely related to a satin varsity/baseball jacket. And I've tried searching with combos of Nike, Original Fashion, Fashion Original, varsity jacket, baseball jacket, satin, etc. Current and completed listings also aren't showing anything. So far I've been pretty lucky in avoiding fakes, so I'm not complaining if I got fooled this time. Thanks!

    Yeah, I didn't see that until I got it home. Like I said, I was in a rush. Saw the Nike MiUSA label and grabbed it. It was $2 so I figured if I got burned, I'd chalk it up to experience and education.

    @JohnAAG

    no expert, but tht looks like it was probably from a mid-late 90s uniform program of a school/sports association (outside of the US based on the sizing). Nothing super special, but made in USA Nike is always cool to find.

    Would imagine someone lost a button over the years and replaced them, but highvoltorb is pretty spot-on about staying away from words like fashion featured on garments.

    @Fueco will no doubt give you more details (and probably the catalog page). But I had one of those Patagonia canvas shirts that I bought in '88 or '89 (an orange one if I remember correctly). I don't have it anymore, but the labels on your's look about the same as mine as I remember them and are close to the labels on my snap-t from that same period.
