1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Assuming this is fake but maybe just old? Either way my wife will like it but just wanted to ask the experts.

That smock is fucking killer. The Bill Clinton tee made me chuckle. I probably saw 5-10 of those in my time at Rag-O-Rama. Never not funny.

Cross posting from quick questions on an ethrift shoe question, all advice appreciated:

Are these welted with closed channel soles or are they just glued on with fake welt stitching? Is it possible to tell just from photos? Thanks everyone.

Most often I've seen Gravati use Peccary. I had a pair of loafers that I wore out and have a pair of their Croc penny loafers now.

I think Gravati is an undervalued brand.

Hmmm. If you search completed listings on eBay for "Brooks Brothers Curzon" (which has that font on the inner wall) you get a few Churchs in the titles and one listed as "Cheaney or Green". But they're like related right?

^^^^Yeah, like Royal Tweed right? Those have both Church's and Cheaney stamped on the footbed, no?

Today is two years worth of accessories. I buy these all the time and have a box with 20+ braces, pocket squares even an awful green cashmere scarf. All waiting for my accessories photo session. Today I do it, I found the two Arc'teryx hats today at Marshals and decided I will photo everything instead of throwing them on top of the rest.

Found a sweet jersey. My size, and these things have good resale value.

Thrift pics later but just got these bad boys in yesterday and super excited. Definitely not thrift prices but grail achieved at a reasonable price ($320 shipped). Ralph Lauren Marlows in the older lighter brown shade. Wear on shoe shoes only 5-10 previous wears and the color blows the current darker brown out of the water

Only one real find yesterday, other than a couple of things for me.

Can't figure out what collab/collection this is from. Saw a similar one listed as "true vintage" on some site for $4200 LOL. I saw one of these at Ragorama the other week but did not cop, this was GW. Seems like an Urban Outfitters-vibe.

Getting ready for a community yard sale at the vintage shop tomorrow. You guys ever have one of those "holy shit I have so much stuff" moments? This is about 1/3 of what I'm taking.

    Zegna, for nature lovers
    [IMG]
Found this today in my younger son's size (he is lucky; the thrift gods smile on him, I am merely their agent). I wasn't sure it was authentic since I'd never seen "Oasi Zegna" before, but the quality is top-notch and it said made in Switzerland so I checked it out online. Turns out there is a great story behind it, so here's the short version and a link. The Zegna family bought a large tract of land in northern Italy outside Trivero, near their headquarters in the Piedmont region, and created a park dedicated to outdoor activities that is open to the public. In honor of that they did a line of clothing using all natural dyes etc. Looks like a fun place to visit: http://www.oasizegna.com/en

Dude they are so bitchy there, it drives me insane. I've had exact same thing happen to me multiple times - it's almost like they don't WANT to sell you stuff. I don't understand it at all. I've seen them have racks priced and ready to be hung, but they won't let me shop them because they're "for tomorrow". Which makes zero effing sense. Head explode.
