The moment you buy your first item at a consignment shop that obviously doesn't fit you and the staff stops being friendly to you

*******. Most of the goodwill managers are way less friendly than they used to be but the smart ones realize flippers buy a lot of **** and that's where their profit sharing checks come from. Basically they're pissed because they know if you're buying something they probably under valued it. They're trying to get as much as they can.

it's been a thin gruel out there lately.

but i did run into a decent vintage bag:

it's inside out fendi: nylon on the outside and calf on the inside.

also: i've included a secret message - see if you can spot it!

Wonderful!
Make sure you get a double-double, timbits, and a canadian maple at my joint while you're visiting. You will crave these things for the rest of your life.

I've come to the conclusion that the chances of me thrifting a really nice suit in my size are quite slim. I found something OKish once. So I was wondering if maybe I could fund a purchase (probably at a nice price by @SpooPoker , @Brianpore or some of the other thrift masters) by flipping my way into the $$$.

Unfortunately, I'm a total noob. I can recognize somethings, but not enough to make a lot of headway on my goal. So the following is what I saw at GW today. Didn't cop anything cause I'm just not sure. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I think all but one of these were orphans. Oh, and sorry for the blurry photos my cellphone seems to have lost the ability to close focus.

Nordstrom cashmere blazer, on this one I was very tempted by the $7.50 price, as I thought i could use it to polish my shoes if it was total trash. One sleeve had some damage, and the ends of both cuffs were a bit worn.

Brooksease???

Is this the Tommy Hilfiger I should be looking for?

There are a few of these but all orphans.

The material seemed interesting, but I've never heard of the label.

I wouldn't wear this, but certainly interesting. Made me think of that show "Zoo".

Tempted, but its a double breasted orphan.

Most would have been $15 or less. What do you all think? Thanks.
