This is exactly what happened. Tried the oils. Looked awesome for a couple hours, but when I checked them out again tonight it was back.

Tried the magic eraser and... MAGIC.

I'm not sure what's in those things, but I am glad they make them.


They don't have anything in them...it's just a block of melamine foam.

Beat me to it, but it's important to note that the "sponge" itself is an abrasive polish. So what you're doing to those glasses is polishing off a layer of oxidation, or grime. I've never damaged anything with one, but it's possible you could clean the writing off the glasses if you are too aggressive.

Is it worth picking up Argus C3 cameras? Doesn't seem like it, but maybe I'm missing something. Shop near my work had a bunch and a sweet looking Canon ae1 program.
