    Found this today. I think someone a few days ago an old piece with tags still. These appear brand new...hope they do well, they are a 40 inch waist.

    Did not grab these, wasn't sure how desirable black denim is these days. I know the big E is a good thing, is that the type of E I would want?

    What makes you think black denim wouldn't be desirable? And yes on the Levi's.

    My more stylish friends have suggested not to wear black denim...

    @double00 @Dirt

    That's a really good synopsis.

    A lot of people also confuse loop wheel with tubular knit. Similar processes and machines, but true loopwheeled fabric has a far different texture and hand.

    You guys for sure know more. I'll head back tomorrow and to grab them. It's a way out of the way spot, so hopefully still there...

    fwiw those black levi's are a repro but not a bad grab. interesting model.

    there is some really not-worthwhile Big E stuff out there, including true vintage. but if you're on the learning curve, at true thrift, it's a good bet.

    A year ago I thought Express and The Buckle were stylish, so learning curve is probably an understatement...

    Another day, another piece of the puzzle...

    This ethrift reunites me with another fraction of the prize, all the beloved jawnz stolen from my Jeep in 1995.

    I see some Body Glove on the 'bay. The future's looking up.

    I don't know if I would go back to a way out of the way spot just to pick up some A.P.C. denim, unless you want them for personal. I think more to the point, we were just agreeing that black denim should not be disregarded because an ill-informed third party read it somewhere and spread this heresy.
