1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

EZ sportcoat. Sorry for the crappy photos, but one of the nicer ones I've ever found. The inner tag was removed, but isn't this a recent label?

Wilkes was bought by Mitchell in 2009, so figure a little time to update the labels, at least within the last 5 years. nice pattern too.

That's the current Zegna label which I think they started using in 2014? ^^ sweet jacket. That would be grail for me if it fit

Your tux is around 2004 Zegna label

This is just rough but should be +- a year I think. And then you have all the different fabrics and the Neiman Marcus tags etc but just focus on the main Zegna part and it should fall within. Ditto with the Couture I think

late 2003-2006, also they switched to the plastic inner label with this one. I think pants switched first (I have seen a rare few with the plastic care tag on the one above)

95% of the time items are fine. It takes more than a couple seconds to look over and entire suit in the store. It's a thrift store there used items keep that in mind. If i did that hundreds of times a week it gets old.I find its easier to buy it and look it over later it's just my preference. If it passes it goes up for sale. The benefit of donating is I can just use them as losses on taxes in the long run its just easier and benefits me at the end of the year. Could I spend $30 and have the tiny hole fixed? Sure then it would be fine.

Only one meager find over the weekend: some Maui Jim Banyans. I think I've found more MJ than any other "nice" sunglasses.

Figures... the only time I find a nice pair of glasses at a thrift is inside the pocket of a jacket I bought.

Rayban Liteforce 7034 w prescription lenses. Surprised to see that these are $210 new. Gifting to a family member who just lost their glasses.

    Pay it forward. [IMG]

Decided to start making regular runs to thrift stores locally. Saving for graduate school and I've also been feeling like my consumerism has gotten a bit out of hand lately. It feels a lot more economical to buy clothes that are already made and can be re-used. First run, I've been looking for a chunky blucher with a plantation sole for awhile and I found these for $12. GH Bass made in Italy, chunky enough and sole makes them fit good in my casual wardrobe.
