1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

When I google it says they are Canada's largest manufacturer of ties. Is it possible they have their own manufacturer in Italy? Or you're thinking whomever is making their ties is making someone else ties too?

Can someone throw me a bone on a lay-up question?

While in NYC last month I saw a ridiculous # of high end winter coats: Moncler, Canada Goose, and a 3rd with a square metal tag on the left shoulder. What brand was this I was seeing everywhere?

Extra fun to find this in the second store next to a vintage store specialized in American vintage.

    I blame the Russians.

The elbow patch idea is one, but you can also get it re-knit. FabricReweavers USA does it.

    Stay classy, thrift thread.

Did any Atlanta bros recently grab a cache of last season, NWOT Miller Bros ties? I was told some guy came in yesterday morning and bought like 20 of the ties. Said he was a reseller.

I got the second wave, it seems like (or maybe the leftovers?). That particular store is going to be the new donation point for the retailer's unsold goods, I think.

All the Miller Bros ties are from a variety of different makers. Three made in Italy, one in the UK. Any ideas on manufacturers?

Eh, you know they walk the three steps to the Goodwill every day and scoop-up items to mark-up.

At least that's what the one by my goodwill did. [IMG]
