1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

This Linda 3 roll 2 size 54 jacket looks nice for 69.99 OBO. Says light smoke smell and button missing. From the photos I couldn't tell you what button so buyer be wary

I bought and returned that SC because it was initially listed as 52r. Didn't notice any smoke smell or missing buttons.

Just one find today. Available. Wool with a softer cotton lining. Really neat.

I'm the same way, and I think it was the cartoons we were raised with -- every animal and inanimate object under the sun had enough personality to make you ashamed and assure you years of therapy dealing with your inadequacies.

Second (and final) day of thrifting in NYC. Only had time to hit a few places.

No Arnys today, but some nice finds:

There was a time - about eight or nine years ago - when I wore a lot of black fleece. I still think Thom Browne is a genius... but it's just not my look anymore.

My local stores went so crazy on marking up Lulu stuff, they started marking up knock-off Lulu stuff as well. Saw a LuLand (Kirkland) metal-vent-ish shirt the other day for $19.99!

Didn't mean to suggest only posting grails. Post whatever is cool to you. My comment was just a thumbs up to @Wrong Crowd .

I mean, if I could wave a wand and not have to scroll through some of the more pedestrian dime-a-dozen stuff now and then, I would. But this thread is more about the company and community than the finds anyway. So if part of the deal is to scroll past a few crusty ties or meh whatevers every day, no big deal.

Fortunately, their branding is subtle enough that it seems to fly under the radar around here so when I do find it, it's cheap.

Only one pick up for me today. Seems like a gren variety, but it's not one of the four listed on Sam Hober's website. Any experts happen to know the name of the weave?[IMG]
