This literally rolled out in front of me as I came in.
My only question is why is the logo on the back so small.

This would go nicely with the made in Thailand 'G. Armani' suit I passed on the other day.

The thrift was with me yesterday at two separate stores:

Still factory sealed. I suppose I could do $5.

    what could these be?
secret mainline Giorgio Armani PTBs! size 45, available
    [IMG]
the shoe trees have already helped alleviate some of the creasing, hopefully they'll keep getting better.

Oakley "Latch" in matte olive ink/emerald iridium. I normally wouldn't be caught dead in Oakleys but these are much more tasteful than what I usually see them do.. couldn't pass these up for $3. Will probably keep for myself unless someone here wants them.

A trio of truly weird short sleeve shirts, two from italy, one from japan. I don't usually pick up stuff this kitschy but these were fairly nice and cheap
    [IMG]
Punch seems to have been a Parisian clothing store judging by the street address on the tag, couldn't find any other info though
    [IMG]
all silk printed with odd sort of tribal designs
    [IMG]
More punch! subtly patterned silk this time with an odd deconstructed collar and pocket design
    [IMG]
and more bizarre prints, like this slick fella:
    and these, uh, friendly sailors
    [IMG]
    and musicians
    [IMG]
    and showering dudes?
and dancing couples! johnny bravo makes a 2nd appearance
    [IMG]
from japan: it's a pashu! apparently
    [IMG]
All rayon, with a magic markery kind of print and mop buttons
    [IMG]
More strangeness and charm, this time from the UK and the USA
    [IMG]
PS button (pill?) print sport shirt
    [IMG]
Don't know jack about western shirts, but this thing is awesome.
"Block Buster" w/ pearl snaps, 50/50 cotton/poly blend fabric, reinforced seams and ridiculous western/cowboy motifs

    JK lavender spread collar

Couldnt believe how cheap this was, Giorgio almost always gets marked up
    [IMG]
    70/30 wool/cash. fits small for a 52.
also crazy cheap - fun fact, I was wearing the exact same tee (in my size) when I thrifted this
    [IMG]

    Piece de resistance shirtwise...
pOp! things a real beauty. spread collar
    [IMG]
    4 front pockets
    [IMG]
    sessy mops
    [IMG]
A wee bit o tailoring - emporio armani "jude line"
likely an orphan, but "dinner jacket" has a nice ring to it. 1 button, 2 vents, pockets still basted shut (although some people just never unbaste them, so I've learned not to take this as too definitive a sign of wear.

My thrifty senses pinged when I found a couple mysterious suits amidst a cluster of overpriced j press and unvented custom jobbies-
    [IMG]
    intriguing...
    never a bad sign...
    no markings eh?
That's the stuff. Check a second name of the savile row list. Also, how cool of a name is Livio Borghese? Pretty sure the Italian outerwear below was his as well.
Poole #2 - navy herringbone. the pants have some issues but it was cheap enough to be an instakop
    [IMG]
almost had me fooled slicing that front label off. stay frosty fellas.

It's a classic for a reason! always amazes me when I find burb that isn't ridiculously priced.

I have the weirdest good luck with shearling (not that i'm complaining) - this time a pretty sweet olive number from Bogner
    [IMG]
Really nicely made, no mention of origin (although echtes leder might indicate german or maybe austrian lambskin)

ermenejildu sanga - something else I wish was my size - been wanting a quilted jacket but not wanting to bite the bullet and buy a barbour.
    leather collar, poly/cotton body
    [IMG]
pulled this beautiful bastard off the women's rack - nothing gets me fired up faster than thrift store fluorescents glinting off an embossed lining...
DB herringbone tweed with mean ol peak lapels
    [IMG]
and the largest mother of pearl buttons I've ever seen
    [IMG]
Roman style! 70/30 wool cash. Perfect except for an easily fixed seam separation at the back of the collar. NA.
And, finally, an e thrift that clocked in around 4/5% retail
    [IMG]
East meets west - these things are dope. Anyone have a clue as to the maker? Size 11, so too big for me, but in the unlikely event someone has a similar pair in size 9 I'd be into a trade.

I think these are the paper bits that accumulate in a 3-hole punch.

ETA: those Punch and Block Buster shirts are awesome.
