1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

because men here dress like women.

and Yohji set the standard for androgenous fashion. that is a men's piece. willing to bet a beer on it.
one of those things, you know it when you see it.

wear that with a grey crew neck, cargo's and yohji combat boots. . . . .

The Atlanta metro keeps turning up random shit in random places.

Found in a tiny town, one of the most insane Briomi jackets I've seen. Riddled with moth nibbles, but for $7 I couldn't leave it. Available if anyone wants it.

I don't usually buy Chaps, but I'll make an exception for this. Available.

This store has given up two gnarly Polo pieces from the women's section.

PRL Fireman Jacket - L - Available. Needs two rivets replaced, but I'm gonna try to take care of that today.

By the way, guys (and Chotii), the TJMaxx and Marshalls stores here in B'ham just marked all of their Polo scarves down to $10 (maybe it's because nobody here wears a scarf). Great value? Not really... But they make great gifts and are easy to sell and at least double your money.

My wife just texted me and asked if something was still "by the Dior". In my head, I was thinking 'why would that be by your shoe rack?' so I responded "no, it's downstairs by the door to the garage." Turns out she was trying to text 'door', but she slipped up and her phone autocorrected to 'Dior'.

Sure, the Mystery Method may read like technical writing (it was in the $1 bin, sue me), but I thought The Game was a very light and entertaining read. (As someone on MTV once said, the *something* may be a waste, but the *study of something* can be profound).

Also, wait -- Frenchy was in The Game? :puzzled:

Also, pick-up lines can be fun if you're in your twenties. My favorite:

"Hey, see my friend over there?"

    *Guy waves*

"He wants to know if you think I'm cute..."

I always got a kick out of Bandler and his offspring. As with many things, great if you know what to do with it.

Frenchy was in The Game? I don't doubt it, but I'm not going to research any further back in time. That was early 90's, I'm thinkin'

@Fueco I was recently wondering why I don't see more of this up here. Maybe I haven't been to the right spot yet and maybe I just flat haven't noticed but it would seem to be an area of easy sales in states like ours.

On a side note - I went into a dispensary for the first time this weekend. That was an interesting experience to say the least - not negative at all, just something completely different to my normal shopping that is equally divided between Safeway, thrift stores and any place that sells growlers of beer.

I'd guess slightly earlier - 60s, maybe early 70s. HSM switched to a black label in the 70s.

I feel compelled to slip the surly bonds of my oppressor primary employer and sound the depths of thrift purveyors near and far.

But alas! Buried in tasks short and long, I've miles to go before I sleep....

It would be so easy to create a "night in the life of ..." screenplay based solely on those items.
