Is there an alternative company other than Tie Crafters to narrow a tie? $37 to narrow/ship is ridiculous

i mean.... not really. youre basically paying them to make a tie only youre providing the fabric. Not as simple as say slimming the leg of a trouser. assuming around $7 to ship, $30 to take apart and re-fold sounds (to me) pretty reasonable.

I was going to go thrifting this weekend, but I went and saw Radiohead and LCD Soundsystem instead.

Haha I wasn't talking about the pattern or anything. I was making a joke about your lack of wearing pants in the picture. Just joking man! It's a great jacket.
Oh, wait! Nobody told me.

You have to wear pants when you post here?

But I live a pants-free lifestyle!

Dudes. Literally read the last three pages with my mouth hanging open. Five Kitons, Spoo's and Wes's hauls, everything else...wow.

and the oldest suit I've personally ran across yet, with the 1934 union label in it.

Heyhooo, gonna need more pics on this. You can't just drop something like that and walk away! BTW, that's either the 1936 or 39 label. Unless you're actually seeing a 1934 date, in which case you may have discovered a new union tag nobody's seen before.

Doh. Meant to type 1939. You're correct. Think 1934 was typed as I was looking at the vintage label guide and saw that.
It's an HSM. Nothing too special I guess but it is crispy and no real wear from the looks of it.
