1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

@Nataku of course schooled me on what I was looking at, so of course when I found the real thing a few weeks ago I had to text him right away, and he confirmed it was the real deal from WWII.

Same donor gave this up as well and I don't know what to think of it. Overdyed M-65. I know The Real McCoy's have done one, but so has Urban Renewal...

And one more from the same donor. Picked it up because I felt like the American Pickers guys would. Hit me up if it's your thing.

And two of some of my favorite brands. Of course, the first one is just too small and the second is just too big.

Just returned from 3 solid days of shopping / eating in the ATL. While I didn't run into anyone from the thread (a few that I suspected), the trip was definitely rewarding in other ways. It was fun to see Alden 911s at Marshalls (did not kop). And it was even more fun to continue educating my wife on the art (luck) of tie thrifting. Her goal is to help me in the neckwear area to free me up to shop for other items. I threatened her within an inch of her life if she brought me another Bert Pulitzer or Countess Mara tie to inspect. She's a trooper, but she was done after about the tenth stop. I soldiered on and found a TON of cool stuff (combination of true thrift, under-priced consignment, and sub-10% retail). I am too tired to take pictures this evening, but promise some tomorrow.

If we switch to Geico, we could save 15% on car insurance...

    Yes please

Hey now, it's hard to beat Wranglers when the cut fits me so well. Plus, American denim raws for ~$20 shipped.

I only grabbed the two, there were 3 or 4 more, but all with stains like those in the pics. Was that wise to leave behind? Didn't know if it was worth it to try to clean them...

    Both available.

I am very ignorant in the field of denim. Vinyl, denim, and sneakers are my thrift weak points. I am equally clueless in all three areas. However, yesterday, I did find a pair of RLPL selvedge denim. At less than $10, I felt that they were a safe investment.
