1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Any idea who makes coats for Harrods? The label only says Harrods and Made in Italy.

I just wanted to say thank you and give you a thumbs up for the suggestion of the magic eraser. At first it didn't work out but my husband suggested using rubbing alcohol with the magic eraser AND YAY! IT WORKED OUT! So thank you for your time. 1 new Tom Ford outfit, each from 2 different DC stores, 30 minutes total, PPU: $20

shirt needs an oxi-bath on the pits, but pretty minor.

And here I thought DC was a fashion wasteland for thrifts. Turns out I just suck at hunting

Shout out to Jos A Banks for the placement of their tags on suits and sportcoats, makes it very easy for me to eliminate about 75% of the rack in just a minute or two, very considerate. Thanks!

Thanks to this thread and the great member here - I am learning a great deal (though I am sure there are a myriad of errors in front of me). Having fun anyway and picking up some items for my wardrobe.

Anyway - here are a couple items from a recent dive...

Spooky looking Brooks Brothers trench - I normally would have probably passed this up but for the price I just had to grab.

    Greek Fisheman's Cap

Zegna shirt (photo taken with way too much coffee)

Top is a pile of Brooks Brothers ties - bottom is Zegna, Zegna, VVines, Boss

3 Trafalgar belts on left, two BB belts on right and Trafalgar braces (equine theme in the back)

Thanks for the look - any/all comments welcomed - good/bad/indifferent.

Quick stop after the gym. Not a big Pink Floyd fan but I was giddy about the Andres Segovia record. V rare, y'all

Blasphemy. Animals is one of the greatest albums of all time. Incidentally, released exactly 40 years ago from yesterday.

Agree. Did you ever see them in concert, with the giant floating pig?

Double agreed. Never saw animals, but Rodger Waters played Dark Side of the Moon in its entirety, during a full moon at Summerfest a number of years ago. Awesome stuff.
