1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Thread first for Mark Powell? It was so cheap I couldn't leave it even with some collar fraying.
    GAP linen for myself.
...and picked up some Jodphur boots from the Topman sale.

Shout out to @bpk1 for the Billy Reid, Goodwill for the BB slim fit, someone awesome on here for the Ben Silver tie (sorry I've blanked on the specifics), and Linda for the pocket square. Not pictured: discount Jack Spade wool trousers, thriftied AEs.

Yep, repro. Cool piece, though. Sold by At The Front reproductions. Big giveaway is the color and type font on the label. http://www.atthefrontshop.com/product_p/usujm42r.htm

I've never actually handled their duffel bags. I know they've been making them for some time, but I don't think they go back to the big label days. I would suspect that this is from the past few years, when they've been using that label again on certain lines. The materials certainly look modern.

I actually sold Patagonia from about '88 to '96 (still have lots of relics from those days). I think that wet/dry duffle bag originally came out in '90 or '91 and it had the nylon colored tag. Not sure if that helps you date this one, but it has been in their line up for a while.

Haven't had time to take quality photos yet, but this was a fun find. From 1958 based on serial #, appears to be working fine, and no major wear. If I end up keeping it for myself first order of business is getting a proper leather band on it.

The Tag is sadly one of those damn super replicas that are very, very close to the real thing. Haven't had time to go over the Seikko yet.

The moncccler is most likely fugazi, but still a very warm jacket. Took the gamble for $5. Most details are within spec but there are a couple painfully incorrect ones.

So a full day of thrifting yesterday in the south bay area netted a few items. 3 Brioni ties a zegna tie, a mint Michael kors suit I would normally pass on but its wool, it was 6 bucks and it's miiiint. Also got a mint old school old Navy pea coat and a pair of Cole Haan boots that are keepers. Barely paid for the gas :/

You may be right... Here's a pic from the Spring 1997 catalog. Patagonia has, for a long time anyway, had this thing for changing colors from season to season. Yours may be a similar vintage.

I was just thinking that I wish I'd kept all my old Patagonia and LL Bean catalogs from those days. Great photography. I still have some old Capilene, a purple boiled wool sweater from '88, a cookie monster blue retro pile from from around 90 or 91, and some Black Diamond climbing pants that I held onto. But the catalogs got lost somewhere along the way.

Just returned from a great bro-down with @Takai and @ReubenR -- engaging discussion of life and thrifting over coffee. Thanks again, guys.

Gents, in Miami on business for a few days, might get a couple spare hours on Wed afternoon -- any recommendations on where to go thrift down here? At a conference in South Beach for a couple days and headed toward Ft Lauderdale for a couple days midweek. Any help is appreciated!
