the W&G doesn't look reversible, and i think that's a game pouch where you stash dead birds. or possibly you were joking...? in any case very nice.

[IMG][IMG]Oh yeah, a game pouch. That makes a lot more sense. Doh. This is only the second hunting jacket I've picked up. I recognized the dove/bird pockets on the front at least. I'm still on the fence about it being reversible though. It looks so darn good both inside and out.

Passed for 2 reasons. 1. It is a team i am not too familiar with or follow. 2. It was A HUNDO!!!
Please, if you guys find Starter stuff if this calibre, from a team i know. For less than a hundo?
Hit me up. It's an itch that flies in the face if budgetary constraints. This is almost what my grail daily jacket looks like.
Folks 'round here be all wearing flight jackets.

Heading to LA for a few days... See my daughter, sister, and doctors. Hope to get some thrifting in, but not so much that I miss seeing family and the beach. If you see a white haired new Englander wearing polo sport o zegna say hi.

Meanwhile here's some recent eThrift goodness

The Orvis coat above was being sold at Costco by the truckload a month ago and now eBay is flooded with them. They are going for about $45-60. I think it was licensed out and just stuck their tag on it.

I need to find a pair or two of Christmas dress socks that aren't totally garbage quality wise. Any suggestions?

Yeah, I had a feeling about that, it had a Marshalls kind of vibe. I don't often see NWT stuff like that. That is still an okay flip for me. :)

Try Corgi. I don't know if they're in the states, but worth a go. Made in Wales, with hand finished toes. Cheap as chips, too!

I'm sure you'll do well with it, I almost pulled the trigger when I saw it on Costco but they were out of my size. It is a nice piece for the price [IMG]

I forget who it was that wanted deets on the Gustin seconds...

Mine came yesterday, so here are some pics. There are some scuffs and light marks here and there, but nothing I would consider a dealbreaker. The joints in the midsole leather might be why these were seconds, as they are a bit sloppy (I've never seen a first quality pair though to compare these to).

Overall, I'm quite pleased, especially for the price. They fit perfectly with my Smartwool hiking socks, which is what I wanted...

    Speaking of...

So many different emotions within the span of 30 seconds when I found this one. Absolutely mint (because it's nwot) Willis & Geiger A-2. Realized pretty quick that the tags looked exactly like the overstock Land's End coats all on the same rack. Good interview that will make you hate Land's End. Still it retailed for $499 about a year ago and I only paid $35 for it. Can't be mad about getting to make an eBay title like "WILLIS & GEIGER A-2 Leather Bomber MINT" I guess.

Mine were firsts and still a bit sloppy on one side. Very clean otherwise though. Definitely pleased with my purchase. [IMG] [IMG]

Fueco, those boots are sweet! They remind me of my Frye Philip Crepe boots. I got black and immediately regretted it. Brown and vegetable tan are infinitely more wearable with casual/workwear.
