1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I think that's because you can't sell sea turtle anymore.

    ^Exactly.
Although I have seen sea turtle items listed incorrectly as alligator, etc.

Thanks! I didn't know it was started by family of MO, the SI ispiration is very obvious though, maybe a bit too obvious imo. My liner jacket has a removable patch with the logo, that looks similar to SI compass logo. Unfortunately I don't think I'll get big money if I sell it [IMG] since you can get it new from mastrum for 100¬£ I think

Also, I gave the Maison Scotch leather jacket I posted to a friend as a birthday gift, and it fit and she seemed to like it, nice! (and it was only like 6$)

It's still perfectly legal to sell vintage sea turtle items. Sold a more recent pair some time back. Listed them with Chelonioidea in the title. [IMG]

I believe @SpooPoker said this was his favorite label to find and I'd have to agree (although I come across it much more rarely than him). I get to the register with it and cashier takes a feel and says "this feels more a jacket to me than a coat. That'll be $4.39."

Had to take advantage of Linda's RRL stock but still didn't feel like paying $29.

Hmm, Women's 2 pocket button front blouse top, you say? (I don't know about you guys but I ALWAYS specify 2 pockets when I'm looking for shirts )
Seems pretty nice..and definitely not women's
    [IMG]
Well, there we go. (Trust, I still tried to lowball on the best offer but they weren't playing ball, so I had to pay full freight.)

Even if there's a tailor out there somewhere with the name Tom Ford, this guy is setting himself up for disaster... The pants are listed as size 34, but have a 31.4" waist? And no pics of the size tag?

Those are nice looking (and very tempting). My only fear is that the last two things that I have purchased as "new with defects" were horrible. So, now, I am hesitant. Let me know if they meet your expectations. If it is just an outsole coloration issue, that's nothing.

I'll let you know... But the seller does offer returns, so it might be worth taking the chance/ At those prices at this time of year, they probably will go away quickly.

1960's era Lanvin formal shirt, size 43: (and it's mint). The label says: Lanvin 15 Fb St Honoré Paris which was the label was used during the 1960s.
