There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

There was some discussion on this a few pages back. I put this LL Bean pigskin suede jacket in the wash on gentle w/ some fabric softener. Hit the grungy spots (pockets/cuffs/elbows) with oxy spray and a nail brush. Hung dry for a day then in the dryer w/ some dryer balls for 20 minutes. Came out very clean and soft. I'm using my Miele W/D which I trust implicitly to take care of my stuff. YMMV.

Agreed. I've had something shipped from her to a US PO box before to save money since I live about 45 minutes away, but it added to the hassle when I had to return it because the one measurement it gave, the sleeve length, was off by a full 2 inches.

Not only does she not actually provide measurements, when you can glean SOMETHING from the messed up listing, it's apt to be wrong. As others have said, I'd be pretty pissed off if I was a consignor; it's bad enough trying to buy something from her.

Youse guys all seem to get the big e-thrift deals. I was sick of not jumping on the linda bandwagon, so I took these "Milano" ties at $11 a piece -- a fine deal, if nowhere near amazing:

Also got this Gant Rugger off grailed for $35 shipped:

Haha maybe a 5% chance and I'd be too busy to thrift anyway (grad school).

Glad I found this forum - though I am getting far less actual work accomplished during the day.

Still a noob to this whole thing so got real excited when I came across my first Burberry jacket. Looks like it's been sitting in a hamper for a couple years and is missing one button but it fits pretty well so I'm focusing on the silver lining. The $6 price tag didn't hurt my feelings any either.

it's been a good 2 days by my standard. all from 3 stores. nothing jaw dropping but i'm excited about the margins. all true thrift, ppu of right under $6 with only 2 accessories included. ones with better pics are already listed.

Trafalgar pebble grain sz 38. I think my most photogenic belt so far

Sammy x Paul Stuart nice flannel navy with gold buttons 46L and BB Regent made by lardini gray stripe suit. nice suit but why put a hard three button closure and pleats on a slim fit dual vent suit??

Cheaney premium grade black PTO sz 8. these are definitely not a US 9 so i'm assuming the size marked is 8US?

Definitely don't get as excited about AE compared to when I first started but I rarely leave anything burgundy or walnut. Gently used Burgundy Park Aves sz 7.5 for $7. will probably sell for more than the cheaney's and faster

Take a close-up photo of the button. I have lots of spare Burberry buttons that have been harvested from various jackets.
