1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Burberry's gray nova check ties are pretty similar if you can't find the BBBF.

What do you guys generally do for pee stains?

I found the newest label Samuelsohn and Coppley but both had piss stains so I passed. But I was thinking what would I do if that was kiton or something. Get a tailor to replace?

Picked up three items today. Was going to get photos when I got home, but it's dark out, so on the rack photos it is! Been stoked to find some interesting things lately.

Not pictures: Lincoln green Dickies for myself.

First European workwear piece I think I've found in Atlanta.

Can I jump on the vintage Polo train? Needs some repairs/cleaning, but couldn't leave it for $7.

Has anyone seen this Brioni label before or have a clue just how old it is?

    I've had luck with:
    Turn pants inside out
Carefully apply a very thick paste of Oxyclean to all stained lining parts
    Let sit at least overnight
Fill tub with a few inches of water, gently wash out the caked on oxy paste
Hang dry but make sure to stretch the waist out fully to keep shape

Saved an Isaia suit or two in the last year

I'm delighted for you both. But these two posts are NOT what I'd prefer to see after being stuck inside for 4 days tending to the hospital ward that my family has become. #thuckfanksgiving.
Stretching, pulling, squeezing or otherwise contorting wet wool is the worst possible thing you can do. Heat and wet are not the concern with wool -- it's stretching while wet. The fibers are most vulnerable and subject to deformation while wet. That's when you can damage them. Color safety while wet is also the problem. That's why the introduction of chemicals while wet is such a wild card. But this method is really quite inventive and gets at what I've been trying to achieve for a while. Do you mind sharing how you managed to achieve "a thick paste" of Oxyclean? That's really the key to the whole thing.

Maybe stretch wasn't quite the right word but yes you're right. Something to keep it pulled flat? Probably not the best method I know. The oxyclean is just adding water to a cup till you can stir it. Thick enough that there is no water to run.

Not really the safest method all around I know but it's worked.

This is great. Ima try this. Thanks for sharing!!

Edit: did you put anything between the liner and the wool or do anything to prevent the liquid oxy wicking from the liner to the wool? I'd worry a little about capillary action moving the dye. Oxy is a dispersant. And it might separate the dyes into their components and you might get rings of discoloration. Was that an issue at all?

Can't speak to age, but I picked up an overcoat a while back with same label.
