1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I can't escape the siren song of the Keurig and the damn K-cups in 500 varieties. Add some pumpkin spice sugar-free creamer on top of that and I am reduced to one step up from a junkie. I do admire you coffee purists.

I think the presidential seat is one to be respected so I'll leave my opinions at the door. I do know we live in a great nation. We have roofs over are heads, clean water, food, schools for are children, freedom and so much more. I think we should all look at how easy we have it. There are so many people world wide that eat from garbage dumps and bath and drink with there livestock and will kill over a bag of rice. We should all feel blessed I do everyday.

Feeling blessed in America is largely a matter of perspective. One of the first ways to recognize injustice and oppression is to recognize your own privilege.

The sooner everyone realizes educated ≠ degrees, the better off everyone will be.

Treated myself to a crap load o' NWT Charvet.
I'll probably keep it all because I'm a hoarder.
Ties were $25, squares $9. Everything for less than retail of 1 tie.

    For the Chicago locals!

My girlfriend and I are making a fourteen hour drive to Chicago for a Friendsgiving near Uni. This is more of a lifestyle-pertinent question--what would locals do in their mid-twenties? Art, DIY scene, parks, drag-magic shows, all ideas welcome.

    Thanks in advance!

Would gladly return the advice for Philly!

I think you meant to suggest that educated does not equal smart?

If that's what you meant to say, I agree with you. But being more educated, by definition, means a higher "degree".

"Educated" people care more about social issues. Doesn't really prove anything, though, unless one thinks that voting Dem is the smart thing to do regardless of candidates. This election was basically a fuck you to the Dems for ignoring poor, white voters and has nothing to do with specific counties that are well-educated. Anyway, I'd be happy to discuss it via pm's as to not further derail the thread.

First three are thrift, the rest are tie lots at a little over $8 a tie.

Try an Aeropress with paper filters. Works some freakin' well...

They sell them at every Bed Bath & Beyond I've been to.

I use the inverted aeropress method, but brew for three minutes instead of one. Then I add water to make what is essentially an Americano.

Join us for our daily rioting protest lol.

I am not in my mid twenties but you can visit Navy Pier, millennium park, art show or museum as these are all next to each other. Get some deep dish and thrift.
