1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

You know what boggles my mind.
Why the fuck it takes you guys almost two years to elect a prsident.
I've lived in three countries and it took 3 months max.
Mind you the population was smaller but still.
The last Canadian election was six weeks from start to finish.

Not to mention how stupid the electoral college is as a concept.
The person with the most votes didn't actually win,and I believe the previous election was the same thing.

I thrifted this painting of aspens with fall colors on Friday, and just hung it up in my office. Makes me so happy... The prayer flags are part of a package I picked up at the Pilgrim's Bookshop in Kathmandu in 2003.

I wasn't just thinking about that guy yesterday
His signature Starbucks drink was 7 shots of expresso in a cup, no cream no sugar

    You know what .
That's the only silver lining .the guy was a very very good mayor, sure he was a disaster as everything else but he actually was a great rep of the people .
So my hope is that Trump is a loose cannon as a person but might actually do a good job.or not.

He was actually my sisters councillor man before being a mayor.
If you had a problem he would come to ur house and discuss it with you and give u his cell number if you still needed help.
When he was on his deathbed he was returning calls still to his ward.
Dude had a week to live and was returning calls.

I say yes. Those extended numbers are indicative of a special edition - remember your Wall Street editions had the same extra numbers and labels? I just dont know which edition it is. could take some deep googling but its out there.

In their defense, our system is a bit wacky, too. We don't even vote for the PM (unless you're in his riding).

That's what you're looking for, but that price is tough. I'd probably pass at that price, but would buy at thrift prices/underpriced consignment prices.

I don't know how you guys deal with Linda if you're buying for yourself. Every once in a while I have a look to see if there's anything worth picking up, but the measurements are few and far between (when even present), and the one thing I pulled the trigger on because it had measurements turned out to be off by 2 inches in the sleeves. I guess it makes sense looking for ethrifts to flip, but damn is it ever a dog's breakfast trying to find something for myself. I can't imagine ever wanting to consign with her.

She won large concentrations of voters in 2 states. I don't think the electoral college is a problem. Who's to say she wins the election if the rules were popular vote wins? The campaigning would be completely different. Both candidates play by the same set of rules so I don't see how it's unfair in any way.

It's not inherently unfair, but the reasons for having an Electoral College in the first place are woefully outdated.
