1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Impressed with the quality of these C. Joseph NY shirts found today. A couple 100% ca$hmere, super 110 wool, a couple with tags still attached. NICE (said in my Borat voice)

Question for the thread: is this the famous pleated charvet tie?

Doesn't look pleated from here but might just be the angle of the pic?

Agree with futuremyth. The pleated ties I've seen are REALLY pleated.

Definitely. All are M except for middle one which is an XLT.
I sent a picture of me wearing the super loud one to my wife. She said she will burn it if I try to wear that in public.

Had some time this afternoon to hit a few places.

Huge Zegna suit. Small stain that better come out.

Very old. Vents but older inner tag. But I can't leave brioni behind. :)

And two pairs of black shell Alden Loafers. One a bit beat up and restored by Alden. The other identical pair are in pretty good shape. Will need a little TLC before they go up for sale.

imo best lookup site is google. the big bold number on the inner tag goes like this: 6 digit model + 3 digit colorway i believe. so you can see the specific name, if legit, comps, special edition, etc etc.

Been following the thread a while now, and I can't ever remember seeing a 1/2%.

Thanks, I did a bit of googling and landed a lucky strike. 2008 Dunk "Scribble" version. They were a cheap snag and seemed worth the gamble. Will try to not clutter it up.

Work has not allowed much time for Thrifting lately. But I wanted to share this with the thread as I know most of you love old cool stuff.
My father passed earlier this year and left this to me. This is an original, dated 1917 and very cool in person.
