1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Remember that some stores are tiny single units in strip malls, and others are giant warehouses in old K-Marts and whatnot. I've been in thrifts that have more racks of just men's shirts than everything total in a small strip mall store.

Also it's easier when you're going regularly and can just shop new tags.

Where I am, we don't have big stores. I can tear a shop to shreds in about 10 minutes. So, we have 10 or so in about an hour and a half.

    Usually with fuck all findings!

I'm out of about 80% in no longer than 20 minutes, the shortest I can be in and out in between 5-10 everytime regardless if I haul or zero. If it hits 30 minutes I call it and bounce. If you've been in there for 30 fucking minutes your dicking around and not being serious and don't deserve any shit you definitely didn't miss anyway. Wasting time,, get the F out. Never come close but it's my absolutely longest time frame I allow.

Thanks @Jompso for the confirmation. I knew it wasn't C&J because of the difference in the seam on the back of the shoe...

Anyway, back to the mystery fur?

I think this is the pimpest thing I've ever picked up... It even fits pretty well, though it's not really my thing. Condition is pretty damned good too.

My stops range for 5 minutes up to an hour. It all depends on what I find (mostly, how many items I have to inspect), how big the shop is, and if I dig through my secondary things (LPs, books, other music).

It would've been a great Halloween costume had I found it a couple of days earlier...

Anyone know which Oakley models these are? The first one looks similar to the Why, but I'm not too sure.

@HansderHund , is Schneiders Salzburg a thing? eBay leads me to believe so. Picked up a NWT duffle coat by them.

I like their stuff, and they've been carried in high-end stores in both Europe and the US. Their newer stuff is modern-looking. Relatively high price-point, but I'm not 100% sure where it's manufactured today. I'd grab a NWT duffle any day of the week though, nice find!

I love dicking around in stores and digging through stuff. That's half the fun. Plus, while you're checking through other sections, they're usually bringing out new racks. I rush through stores when I hit them on my lunch break, but that's just because I have some time constraints. On a Saturday/Sunday, I might dip out of a store in 10 min, but I also might wander aimlessly for an hour and wait for new stuff.

^^ Kovacs made my all-time favorite table lamps, which I stupidly sold last time I moved, not knowing they had been discontinued.
