1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Glad he's gone. He has some cool ideas, but Brioni doesn't need to be a faux slp. Have to wonder what the fuck they were thinking in the first place.

Mercari doesn't appear to be a bidding / auction site...just buy it now like Close5 and Letitgo.
For the life of me I can't think of any other auction sites either.

Legit advice for flipping and for personal use. Buy stuff that makes you say "fuck yeah" or even "that's pretty cool." There's a reason dated Hickey Freeman/Samuelsohn/etc sport coats don't get a million thumbs up here and a million bids on eBay even if you recognize the brand name as something's thats 'good'. Now if you find those for crazy cheap, buy them but don't get your hopes up.

Not terribly helpful for you now, but I've started picking up SCs with nice buttons on $1.99 day at GW. Of course I'm only finding 2 button coats and the few I need buttons for are 3 button so it's not helpful for me either. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Is that not nationwide? Sundays and Mondays both are 50% a certain color tag and then they all drop to $1.99 that Tuesday. There's rarely anything worth grabbing anymore. A few years ago I grabbed 4-5 BB tweeds for $1.99/ea. Lately I might take a chance on 1-2 things a month because it's all crap. That plus every GW is a frickin madhouse that day.

At NYC Goodwills, a "sale" is when they don't mark a dated EZ for Barneys double breasted orphan with mothholes and piss stains (yes, on an orphan) up to 49.99 and just choose bend you over for the minimum odd jacket price of 14.99.

Thanks - I thought that "8" was the letter "B" so my googles didn't turn up anything.
