1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Ah yeah, I'm far from an expert on those. Haha. They are definitely old, though. If WWII is ruled out, I'd guess 50's.

the reinforced shoulders/elbows are pretty interesting for that vintage, seems like you don't see typically those on american riding jackets until around 1960. nice score!

I actually just sent off the nicest Pomeroy by Greenfield jacket I ever encountered. Handwork on it was absolutely stunning, and I have about 20 Miller bros ties in my rounder.

I was blown away, if that was a real German bomber jacket, that would be amazing.

First, I want to recognize your pun.
    It was terrible.
Second, I'm going to take a stab at identifying that leather. I'm just looking at the small image on my phone, and it kind of looks like... elephant.
I could be wrong. You can look up elephant hide and compare it to what you've got in front of you.
