1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Any of the experts here shed some light on this piece? Its a women's Ralph Lauren coat in 100% Cashmere. The pattern is beautiful, and the material is ridiculously soft. I know nothing about women's cloths, but I figured 100% Cashmere for $5.75 has to be ok. Forgive the crappy phone pics.

Black label is *good*! Made in USA is also good - only the best RL label is made in the US. (The green 'Ralph Lauren' label is actually licensed and made by Jones New York, IIRC) I would wait until the weather turns to list it, though, unless you're hoping to send to Australia.

The collar style says 1980s to me. I recently sold a black label skirt suit for a pittance. I'd put it at $49.99 and see what happens. And I'd wait until fall. Few people are searching for cashmere jackets when it's 9348769234785 degrees outside.

Can we leave ma'amories out of this? This is a men's style forum.

Actually, I'm still trying to get used to the idea of how men's shirt sizing works. See, with women's tops, if PTP is 24", it will fit up to a 48" bust without puckering or gaping across the bust, so if I had a size 46-48 bust, I would probably buy that size to ensure that the rest of the top doesn't hang like a potato sack (although many women deliberately buy a size up in knitwear to be certain there is no puckering across the bust). And of course, sizes are inconsistent brand to brand. Some brands, like FLAX, Jams World, and Tianello, are inconsistent even within their own company. I currently am working up listings for M, XL, and XXL Jams World women's tops that ALL fit a 48" bust. Can't figure it out. So I always give PTP in my title line along with tagged size.

Apparently, men's shirts are sized differently? A PTP of 24" is considered a size 46 or a L, except when it's a Hawaiian shirt, when it may be M?

It almost sounds like he's suggesting you wear it to Burning Man, but few people (aside from me) wear tailored clothes on the playa.

That's so nobody would recognize me if they walked past me on the street. Although, nobody would recognize El Doggo either, right now. I shaved him BALD for summer. #10 blade against the lay of the hair. Less chance of clipper burn than a #40. And the taco went to live in California with a taco fanatic who takes it to My Little Pony conventions. Ahem. :D
