There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I know vintage Schwinn is a thing, but is this model? Appears to have had repainting(s) or did they color match wheels at one point?

They're asking $250. Saw similar style sold for $499 on the bay.

Am I a fool for leaving it behind? At this particular store that is a price that should keep it there for today.

The Pan-Europ with the blue face is on my want list. My grandfather used to wear a hamilton so I have a soft spot for them.

I was getting ready to go to the post office when my "no-fear" 7 year old daughter finds a friend in the yard... She cried when I would not let her keep him. She is already begging "Santa" to bring her a boa constrictor for Christmas. I guess that I need to start thrifting some reptile supplies. Sorry for all the detritus in our storage room.

Was checking out LORO PIana Vicuna at Bergdorf Goodman last winter. It was funny to me how
approachable the price seemed to be to the sale guy showing it to me. :)

    Doc, shame on you.

That could have been a small wallet, at least!

I totally forgot to update you guys on that.

So, the original plan was to make a croc/gator/python floor in my home closet. But once we had the plans to open the store, I wanted to utilize the skins in the store somehow.

Not too long after taking over the space that is the LuxeSwap boutique, there was a local Mens Warehouse that was going out of business. They were selling all their fixtures and they had an awesome tie table. We needed one for the store, obviously, but it was this horrible pale blonde wood (our store theme mimics our auctions with a black and white design). So I got the table for like 50 bucks and contacted a local artisan to help turn the belts into part of the table. He took the belts (it was literally like 4 giant tupperware containers full), cut all the buckles off, and began the process of a degrade effect of applying the belts. For the tops of the pillars, we used some croc handbags I thrifted too :

The table was awesome, but needed to be black (I had thought there was a darker effect when I told him to do a degrade), so we painted them all black and here is the end result. Kind of a rushed photo but you get the idea. The whole table is either croc, python, lizard, alligator or other snake. a great exotic table. The guy said he had 4 figure offers to buy it when it was in his store waiting for me to pick it up. Looks like Ill still have to keep Kopping skin belts to sell one!

Thank you to all of you who sent me exotic belts for the project - it means a lot to me. A community who stands behind me to help, thrifting, skins, teamwork, and something luxe. All the things I love wrapped up into one!

Had a furniture kick lately, I guess. Ritts Tropitan bamboo lounge chair. Didn't have a cushion with it but I still picked it up. I've seen some ridiculous asking prices on these, but probably keeping for personal use for now.

I just read the post about the passing of @hbkshin . Just heartbreaking. Dude had me consistently cracking up with his comments and memes. He will definitely be missed. Just remember, it may not seem like it at the time, but it always gets better.

Any idea on the maker of this chambray workwear shirt? Google came up empty. Seems well made.
