I don't understand how people's asses can handle it. I road from Pittsburgh to Washington DC and my butt was like a Shell Cordovan shoe after capnwes gets done with it.

Shiny and well-patinated from being rubbed vigorously with cream?

I was going to say that numerous men stare at pictures of it on an online forum. Some even ask "How much?"

Like anything else, it's a matter of "getting used to it". Even then, some people cannot handle the distances that other people do. My longest ride is "only 1/6th as long" as my wife's (let's just say that she is a total badass). I just can't handle the saddle issues (the sleep issues are a whole 'nother story) the way she can.

It's not about cushion, just fitting the form of your butt bones and gooch. Also, you just get used to it. Riding a bike isn't supposed to be like lounging on a temperprdic.

100%... Between a properly fitting saddle, and a professional bike fitting; long rides become so much easier on your body.

I used to have a Carbonio SLR on my mountain bike and it was perfectly comfortable and surprisingly durable. The Brooks Swallow Ti I have on there now is more comfortable, though.

I've tried many different saddles, including several from Brooks, and the Antares was the winner for me. I have a different Fizik saddle on my CX bike, and it's not as comfortable.

I'm still betting against it. The date code doesn't convince me. It just doesn't have the size the stamp should be a bit bigger it looks small and off center. The chanel logo should be perfectly centered between the a and the n. Things come from china with fake serial numbers/date codes all day. Put it on a chanel authentication forum they will know in 5 seconds.

Bet you $20 its real.

This reference makes me miss my previous life as a degenerate gambler.
