1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

^^^^^I think $1500 retail is probably on the lower end of the spectrum for a LB coat like that.

Edit: extremely quick google search shows LB sc's hover right around $2500

Hit one store Saturday, they had some oddities in the showcase, I ended up buying 2 bolo ties and one belt buckle, left this other belt buckle that had all these blue stones but it was like 20-30 of them and was kind of ugly. Doing some research on what I did buy and realized those blue stones are turquoises and that was easily the most valuable piece. [IMG]

I stayed up late trying to figure this out. Looks like they're from 1978. "Village" model, not to be confused with "Le Village". They seem rare, and I can't tell how popular. Probably too big for Japan market but I hope to make a little off them.

That keeper is found on older brioni ties but I guess I'd need to see more to really know... Based on this picture, it looks good...

    Pretty cool find for me.

Found this nice piece of art all by its lonesome in a corner. It still had cardboard covers on the corners, and was certainly never hung on a wall. On the back was a sticker which made deciphering the signature much easier. It also told me that the artwork was auctioned off on a cruise ship. Of course, I was curious.

I contacted the artist - still living, and with a modern website: http://bullart.com/ - and asked him some questions about this piece and what he thinks it is worth. I did not expect much, but he wrote back!

There from 2009. The manufacturer date is on them. If you run the number under it it will tell you the model.
