1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

So, never fails, went to ATL this past weekend for a convention with friends. Bought a couple things for me, also kopped some Roys in my size, and some personal grail Lucchese ropers, a Hario mini grinder, and an Iron Heart Vest for working on my car. When I was on my way back, CEL comes on, and it turns out I need to replace the entire exhaust system. >.o Looking like 800-ish if I do it myself, ~1.1-1.2 if I have it done. (Not cheaping out, buying an all stainless system)

At least the car is still definitely driveable in the mean time.

Picked up this weird Valentino suede jacket this afternoon. Might have passed it in the past but was inspired by the conversation earlier about buying now and asking questions later. I always forget I can return to Goodwill for store credit. A couple spots on it, but I think it could probably be cleaned. Is this a thing?

No idea if it's valuable but it's modeled after a Trachten jacket, which is usually made loden and found in Bavaria and Austria.

After never finding this brand, two trips in a row. It's the polartek and looks to be the same as the ones they currently sell on the site. Not available

I'll never forget that time I walked into a store about 5 min too late to scoop a legit Eames lounge with the ottoman for $50. Rosewood and black leather too. Fuck.

No. At Goodwill, so not ironic as it would have been if this was at Salvation Army. Maybe someone can wear it and walk in the back of the store and take the Kiton, Brioni, Isaia, Loro Piana and Hermes scarves they hide.

Thanks for the tips today. I was patient and found this very mint tweed that fits me perfectly. Sized 43R and open to offers. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]
