No thrifting for me today, just relaxing (and recovering) with the family. Wanted to take a second and wish you all a Happy New Year. Here's a quick shot of our new addition, not quite three months old and already hamming it up on New Year:
Get this kid an agent, stat!

First run of 2016: dropped off ten bags of discards and was rewarded with Oxxford and Brioni. Hopefully a good omen for the year.

For my final thrift run of 2015 I found one Alden shell loafer and could not find the mate anywhere in the store.

...worst part is they were my size. Damnit.

You farging iceholes. I thought the thrifts were closed today with it being a holiday and all. Checked here a few hours ago, saw finds, grabbed my coat.
Not clothes, but something I've been wanting to find just because:

3% rule - they retail for $900
Would prefer Kiton or Brioni, but got this 1 button peak lapel tux jacket:

Will have to keep an eye out for the pantalons.
NOW back to working down the backlog.

Thought about that but decided to leave the shoe and my name/number in case they found it.

I have some AE shell loafers so i'll live, but Alden is so rare out here. It still hurts over 24 hours later.

Did find an Isaia sport coat at the next spot for $4. Thrift gods threw me that one to help me recover.

Thrift fit from last night:

Cobalt Blue Silk Smoking Jacket - $8
White Spread Collar Canali 1934 Shirt - $35 from eBay (thrift funded)
Zegna Charcoal Flannel Wool FF Slacks - $8
Allen Edmonds Black Manistee Belt - $4
Paul Stuart Black Crunchy Knit Silk Tie - $3
Random White Cotton PS - $2

*Not Shown* - Allen Edmonds Concord Black Wingtip Brogues - $15

Not a bad fit. The jacket sleeves are kinda short, so I had to double-back the shirt cuffs to compensate.

This reference always makes me happy.

What is it, raining Barbour this week?! Sheesh.
I found a beadnell too this week, NWT, but pink and. Ladies small, so the wife claimed it. Still, I'll post pics tomorrow or Sunday.

Day 1 / 366 (it's a leap year). Not too bad, stores were jammed up the icehole. Lazy pics:

Thought this was a reprint, but it's an original:
EDIT: I meant to say the opposite - thought this was an original, but it's a reprint. Either way....they reprinted the entire paper including the old ads, classifieds etc, 50 years later. Kinda cool, but worthless.

Appears NWOT:

Found this at the local GW and thought......why not? If nothing else some Baller (Spoo) might need to keep up appearances while tooling around in his hooptie!!

I also had no idea the thrifts were open today. Went to one 30 min before closing on a whim. Bam!

Been Had XXL 100% Linen

What IS this? A licensed product? Nothing much on the intraweb, maybe a women's line? Seems almost Legit. Does anyone know?

Also, every time I bowl I swear I'm going to buy some shoes cause I don't like to rent them... Passed by the shoes on the way out. They fit perfectly:

A great start to the year, now back to the backlog!
