1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Vintage snapback... And the official FINA water polo game ball seemed so out of place in CO that I had to grab it.

It's a Milanese-style buttonhole, which is unique because it doesn't have visible knots in the silk twist used to sew it, which makes for a smooth, shiny appearance. It's just an obscure detail you usually only see on obscure, high-end Italian suits.

Don't know how you guys do it. I suspect location has something to do with it; either I'm hitting the wrong spots, or my town is full of people who wear clothes from Costco and Superstore. Since I've started lurking here I've been looking more at labels to see if I ever come across anything even remotely valuable, and the best I've seen is a BB awfully-patterned 1818 with holes and a pair of piss-stained EZ pants.

Don't get me wrong, I'm going to keep thrifting, as I don't have the cash flow to up my wardrobe game at retail, but DAMN it's tough watching these hauls sometimes.

Eu 48... Just an orphan jacket. I scoured the store to no avail.

Also found a NWT Lowe Alpine Goretex jacket. :slayer:

I hear you. I'm in West Palm Beach. You might think there'd be a ton of high end stuff here. Guess what: it sucks. I have a feeling most of the folks here donated/sold/threw away all their clothes in NY before they retired and moved here.

There's even an upscale Goodwill Boutique on Palm Beach, near the mansions. It is very small; for example they usually have 10-15 ties. They are all BB, but they are all $25. They have several men's shoes, but nothing above a Cole Haan- level. It's a freaking joke.
