Today i did an impromptu thrift run before going home. Wasn't expecting much (especially after going through a tie rack full of nothing).
Then I hit the sport coat/suit racks and pop x 2!

I went through the entire racks but could only find those 2 lesser pieces

Hickey Freeman + LP super 130 fabric

ok now the serious stuff: This was my first find.

    pop!
Nice double breasted navy jacket :)

But!, there are a few downsides to this find:
1/ it seems it's an orphan... and I did not have time to go through the pant racks to chekc if it was somewhere to be found :/
2/ it has a stain (sweat? wear?) on the collar. see picture below
3/ GW are savages :censored: 2 small rips on the shoulder pad where they tagged it.

And next to that Barbera, i found my second Kiton ever! my size again!
It also seems it's from a suit and I regret even more for ot having checked those racks

7 Stores and 1 pair of Filson tin cloth pants. It's been really slow lately. Here's some stuff I thought I'd document but did not purchase.

Possibly the ugliest (newer) shirts I've ever come across in a thrift.

    Oldest Brioni shirt I've seen.

I've found a bunch, but none in awhile. After selling off the last pair I've found I read that the collection ID is inside the back pocket (I'm pretty sure)

Saw Star Wars, totally worth taking a vacation day from work. Also picked up a wool flannel Brooks Brothers suit made in Italy, Filson mackinaw vest, Alden for BB shell loafers. Great day.

Aw yissss. This is why I gave such high praise to my man @GMMcL. Came clutch with this orazio Luciano suit, with complimentary tie and isaia nwt hanky. Sickest christmas, this plus my secret santa (please tell me who you are). Ignore the shirt. A little tailoring to clean things up, and this might be my favourite suit ever.

I pick up the shirts with single needle tailoring and shanked buttons and leave the others. The nicer ones seem slimmer cut, too.

This morning before my daughter left for school.
"Daddy, please don't wear something embarrassing to my school program today."
I, of course, replied, "Honey, have you ever known me to do that?"
    muahahahaha

Yep... everything worn in that photo is either thrifted or gifted. Unfortunately, I am only barely able to wear the pants as they are a tad loose in the waist.
