I have a 15 year old Stepdaughter and whenever I have been to school events or seen a group of her classmates there, Patagonia and North Face are widely represented. She straddles the groups of athletes and debate kids. So, I think the appeal of them is universal. There also seems to be much less "hipster" stuff and her taste (and some of her friends) seems to be moving to Preppy along with the Patagonia/North Face / Nike stuff. She loves Vineyard Vines, Southern Tradition, J. Crew, Polo, etc. It was funny, she saw some J. Crew stuff that I bought to sell a while ago, before I knew better, and was telling me all about it as if her generation was the first to find J. Crew.

I hope her move to preppy has been as a result of my influence, but I'm sure she would deny it. I was very excited when she told me she really wanted a Navy Blue Blazer for debate. AND she insisted that it be wool and have gold buttons.

Reporting for Florida universities: Columbia PFG shirts, Carhartt jacket if it gets chilly. I can count on one hand the amount of Patagonia I saw on three separate Florida university campuses over the years. North Face t shirts are popular, too. No one here has heard of Arc'teryx.

Also, I should point out that brightly colored Patagonia stuff is Big In Japan...

That too. GDI 4 lyfe. I don't why I said that, I fucking hate that term. A Banana Republic coat was my go to for a long time at school. I did eventually have a NF jacket though that was way warmer. The frats certainly liked their Vineyard Vines at Miami.
    That's awesome. [IMG]

Thank you everyone for the information. I hope I didn't offend or upset anyone. Was just curious.

Outdoor guys, am I looking at something awesome or just something old? I took a gamble on it being the former.

Looks like a Denali Fleece jacket from here. Can you post detail shots of the internal tags (especially the one with the codes). TNF is heavily faked.

I found an old wallet and it wasn't empty. Are there any coin dudes here?

I can't tell you values... But those half dollars are silver. Some of the others look it as well, though I don't know those as well.

'64 half dollars are silver, worth probably $7 or more for the silver content. Mercury dimes are also silver, value probably starting around $1 each. Same for Roosevelt dimes if they're '64 or earlier.

Coins after '64 are not silver and generally worth face value.

Thanks guys! I'll probably just hold onto them since they're not terribly valuable.
