i am so goddamn happy
dunno what ralphie calls it but i'd call the rrl an upland shirt (or shirt jacket) if you're feeling saucy. herringbone denim...
Moarrrrr vintage Ralph
So much craziness on here today! That espresso maker and that Polo jacket! Wow!
That green HBT jacket? It's actually looks like it's inspired by a WWII Herringbone Twill utility jacket. Fabric, donut buttons, the single chest pocket, etc.
That's definitely it. I was leaning more military when I saw the green herringbone. Thanks Nat!
I don't know where to shop for that vintage stuff...crazy. The Versace pants are even peeing diamonds!
Glad to help! That's an awesome piece. I actually think the cuff buttons the same way too. Really cool.
I feel like I'm peeing diamonds.
I don't think that's a good thing, actually.
I would like to know what other grails Spoo lusts after. I mean about 1/4 of the stuff posted every week by everyone would be grail for me. What else can considered Grail for someone like Spoo?
I've never found Chanel, or Tom Ford, or a LV Trunk, . . .
I think it's awesome that having had so much success in this business that there are still somethings that can get him so excited. For me, I think the ultimate Grail would be thrifting a Rolex. I don't mean buying one at an estate for $500 and selling it for $5000 (although that would be incredible). I mean actually thrifting a Rolex. Probably never happen since they Rolex is so recognizable. But, I can hope!
Thats not pee Spoo...!
Unlined, all edges finished, no tags, stamp on collar
true vintage 92/93 RL was at the very top of the list.
other things that I haven't found but want to will :
Kiton tailored pieces (found at estate and charity sales, but not thrift, thats what i want)
18k buttons so i can stop saying i only found 14K buttons
Versace silk patterned vintage shirt
Chanel tweed jacket
and of course, the thing that I'm looking for the most :
Spoiler: Warning: Spoiler!
