    @Doomsticks

    My approach to shell is to do the absolute least I can get away with. I have found that a damp cloth to remove any surface gunk followed by brushing vigorously with a horsehair brush followed by a coat of polish and more vigorous brushing is all that's necessary. FWIW, I've found some pretty scraped up shell and that's all I've ever done.

    Edit: Shell is typically pretty waxy/oily.

    I see this brand posted a lot but I don't know anything about it. Left it but could go back and get if someone wants it. Not tagged but I'd wager a 38 waist and 31 inseam.

    And a rant. I brought a handful of brooks brothers shirts to the change room my size only to realize all the sleeves had been ripped or slice. I go to hand them back to the lady and notify her of the severed sleeve beyond repair and she says oh those came out today. There's no discount on them. I said oh no you misunderstand me, they are ripped and should be thrown out. She looked at me annoyed and proceeded to put them back on the rack. makes me mad as I've accidentally bought ripped clothes before

    .

    Be careful with this. Shell can get so dry and dehydrated it can crack and split. So you need something to put moisture back in the leather. And brushing alone won't do that.

    My humble experience is that Venetian cream is best as long as you brush it away quickly before it dries and cakes into all the little creases. I found renovateur to be good but not as effective in terms of hydration. And I did a side by side compare.

    Thoughts on diesel jeans in general? Didn't buy these as I assumed fake based off the imprinting on the buttons but maybe someone could tell me

    Part of a vast backlog... I need some help identifying a maker.

    I've got 3 total, all of them use loro piana fabrics and they're all made in the US.

    More handwork on these then all of my Kitons, real handwork too, not machine.

    I enhanced the contrast shadows and and highlights. I think the bottom line says "by John's tailors"
