Was upset the Purple Man wasn't purple at all. I saw, too!!! I was eye balling the pants version for days on Bloomingdale...But didn't feel like forking over $100 for a pair of camo pants.

Is it kind of a strange commentary on the state of things that I don't find $315 all that steep for denim?

The most I've ever spent on a pair of jeans was around $200. The same pair cost around $275 at Blue in Green Soho which I was amazed the prices were kinda low. But anything above 2 bills it's just too rich for me.

Well, there are so many denim heads around where you are so I'm not surprised you've build the collection. I wish there were more denim heads living near my hood and are donating their grails...

I can still remember my mother making disparaging remarks about Sears when she had to pay $8.99 for my Toughskins jeans.

Damn, was that like the final sale price? I remember the camo overdye pants at least up there near $250 retail. I got a brown slim fit pair from VLSI awhile back; best pants ever!

Regarding Jessica Jones, I like it a lot, but don't see why they couldn't have followed the comic. (Still touched on the movie universe, and in the same tangential way the show does, so WTF, man? Purple Man as the main villain instead of just a flashback is pretty dope, though. Luke Cage is ace, and I don't get why they didn't just make one show with the pair (which is how they always appear in the comics anyway).

Yeah Duchamps are nice, and seem to sell well. I've only found 1 tie about 3 years ago, and it was completely insane-patterned. I had it in my collection for awhile, but at some point it went missing... [IMG]

Not sure I'll ever find it... We have tie collections at 3 different houses, with like 3200+ at this house alone. Needle in a silken haystack.

This was mainly in the early to mid-80's. I think the show ended in 85 or 86. Holy cow! That was 30 years ago.
